GECKO GUIDE

HABITAT

First and foremost, all leopard geckoes should be kept in a tank with a volume of atleast 20 gallons. We recommend a substrate of reptile carpet, with medium river peebles that will retain heat overnight. Additionally, you should find some flat, slate stones for the same purpose. Do not use sand or other small particles, as leos have been known to swallow things they proabably shouldn't. Make sure the tank has a warm and cool side, that should be around 90F and 75F respsectively. Include 3 'hides' or structure for your gecko to make home in. These should include one on the warm side, a second on the cool side, and a third in the middle.
